Later generation of the popular Grandstream VoIP phone. This comes with a conventional power supply, but has Power Over Ethernet support built in, so just needs a PoE injector or PoE switch. I used a TP-LINK TL-PoE150S PoE Injector Adapter which auto-negotiated the correct voltage. Configuation via the built in web interface is straightforward, but still working on uploading address book details (which can be added using the keypad). Phone supports two VoIP accounts, so it can have two numbers. It can also be set up to reject direct IP calls so avoiding phantom ringing from hacking attacks.

Got to be the best IP Phone I have bought. Easy to set up, with clear display. Great hands free, loud and clear. Just remember to set up port forwarding to the phone so you dont get calls dropping.

Configuration is via the built-in webserver, so you'll need another device for the nitty gritty configuration details. Worth noting that Sipgate Basic doesn't support the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) so no matter how you set the phone up, you don't get the red flashing light to let you know you've got voicemail. Although it doesn't matter as Sipgate can email you the voicemail file instead so it's no real loss.

First one was faulty and had to go back, but that happens. I've bought lots of Grandstream phones. Decent call quality, easy enough to configure, and enough features for most applications. Call quality is good. PoE is great - no ugly power bricks under desks. We use Voipfone and find these and our other Grandstream units work flawlessly.

This phone works well with our VoIP system. Keep in mind it is not a normal phone you can use at your house and requires lots of technical know-how or a VoIP company to configure it for you. The phone book is rather pointless since it cuts off names, but you can store numbers. I do like the size for smaller desks instead of getting a bigger IP phone. The two lines are very easy to toggle between and it is fairly straigt forward to use, however certainly not for someone that takes a lot of calls.
