All UK communications providers, including Sipdesk, are regulated by Ofcom’s General Conditions of Entitlement. These regulations have been devised to apply to those organisations providing an electronic communications service or an electronic communications network to consumers.

Specifically, General Condition 23 regulates how telecommunications providers are able to market and retail mobile phone services to customers; General Condition 24, meanwhile, regulates the marketing and selling of fixed-line telephony services to customers.
